Blood Bank

Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences understands that to treat critical illness and surgeries, it is indispensable to have an in-house blood bank facility. Our aim is to provide quick treatment to our patients by providing them the right type of blood or its components, such as platelets at the right time. Basic features of blood bank services at RIMS are:

• To adhere the international blood transfusion standards
• Standard procedural application for blood typing and screening
• Preserve blood and its components in an appropriate condition by using state-of-the-art infrastructure
• Conduct blood donation camps as a part of Community Health Programs
