RIMS’s Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU) is capable of providing treatment for all complex and urgent heart disorders and related organ failure. The ICCU contains all the latest medical equipment such as ECG machine, Ventilator, Defibrillator, Syringe Pump, etc. that are indispensable for carrying acute cardiac disorders. Our cardiac surgeons and other nursing staffs are well-trained for carrying minimally invasive surgeries. The ICCU at RIMS provides services during:

  • Acute heart failure
  • Heart attack
  • Complex Arrhythmias
  • Acute coronary syndromes and several other emergency cardiac situations


The technologically advanced Intensive Care Units (ICU) at RIMS takes care of critically ill patients. Equipment available in the ICU include: mechanical ventilator, cardiac monitors, external pacemaker, feeding tubes, etc. The ICU has total number of 4 ICU beds (including neonatal). The ICU specialists, anesthesiologists and all other related staffs are available round the clock for providing treatment and the required observation to the patients.
